Dockmate believes now is the time to revolutionise the way we dock. Their mission is to give captains the confidence they need to go and explore the world by setting the world free from docking stress. Thanks to their industry leading technology, you are able to leave the helm and get a closer look at your surroundings while still in complete control of the boat’s movement, resulting in total control during typical manoeuvring in marinas and tight quarters.
As the company grew, it was time to create a bigger brand story that would resonate with both consumers and distributors. Having worldwide exposure, clear guidelines were missing on how to further develop the brand and create consistency in every market. Boil® started with defining a challenger strategy playing out the superiority of the product which led to a repositioning as being more premium.
In the next phase of the rebranding project we created the new baseline ‘Explore the World’. The idea behind the story is that no captain should be held back from exploring the world due to stressful docking manoeuvres. We designed inspirational key visuals conveying the beauty of exploring the water with a boat. At the same time we fine-tuned the architecture of the brand design following the repositioning.
Next we translated the new brand story into a webdesign making the brand story truly come alive. We developed the website in-house from A to Z in Wordpress and integrated SEO boosting the organic reach of the brand.
Once all the brand touch-points like website and brochures were in place, we developed a digital plan for advertising and content marketing that would be rolled out on their social media channels.
The rebranding was finally launched during a big event in the boating industry. Boil® created all marketing materials, supported the realisation of the stand and helped with the build up of the presentations .
